We can look back on a successful year, characterized by great demand for innovative technologies for shaping the energy and raw materials transition.

Thanks to the trusting cooperation with all our partners from industry, science and the public sector, we were able to initiate numerous new projects at state, federal and EU level.

Our team works enthusiastically on these forward-looking projects that help us to contribute to a sustainable future.

Project highlights 

• The Inno-Teer project for the recycling of tar-containing road demolition waste and the commissioning of the InnoTeer demonstration plant 
• The research results of the FlexNOx project, in which a firing technology was developed that can reduce Nox emissions from wood firing systems by up to 80% or
• The launch of the ISSDEMO project to develop an ultra-dynamic high-temperature heat storage system for use in industry and
• The official completion of our major project in Kuwait, in which the first nationwide waste management strategy in the Gulf region was developed

We were also very pleased with the visit by State Secretary Tobias Gotthard to our large-scale research facility for sustainable fuels and chemical products at the Hohenburg site. 

We are also pleased about the cooperation with the research institute SENAI ISI Biomassa in Brazil, which will receive a plant from Fraunhofer UMSICHT for thermocatalytic reforming to convert biogenic waste into sustainable energy sources.
