Fraunhofer UMSICHT at Chemical Recycling 2025

Fraunhofer UMSICHT is participating in the AMI Chemical Recycling 2025 in Brussels. At the booth you will meet Dr. Alexander Hofmann, head of the Advanced Carbon Conversion Technologies department, who focuses on research into recycling technologies and downstream processes. He will also be presenting how conventional plastics can become CO₂-neutral.

This fair focuses on research into the potential of chemical or advanced recycling to convert plastic waste into new materials.

Fraunhofer UMSICHT wants to make conventional plastics CO₂-neutral by replacing fossil raw materials with renewable ones.
