Fraunhofer UMSICHT with presentations at the IAEA Ministerial Conference on Nuclear Science, Technology and Applications

Fraunhofer UMSICHT is participating with presentations at the Ministerial Conference on Nuclear Science, Technology and Applications in Vienna. Dr. Alexander Hofmann will give two presentations on chemical recycling and new potentials in pyrolysis. 

The IAEA Ministerial Conference 2024 brings together ministers and high-ranking officials from the IAEA member states. It will address the role of nuclear science and technology in addressing some of today's challenges such as health, food safety, water resource management and climate change. In addition, the parallel side event will address the fight against plastic pollution.

In the conference program panel »Environmental Health«, Dr. Alexander Hofmann will speak about the opportunities of chemical recycling via pyrolysis. He will also speak about the potential of electron beamers in pyrolysis in the additional side event »ADDRESSING PLASTIC POLLUTION«.
