At the matchmaking event, Dr.-Ing. How can the practice of recycling waste electrical and electronic equipment in Ghana be improved? This is the question addressed by a research project led by Fraunhofer UMSICHT and funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment. The aim of the project is to investigate how treatment can be supplemented by innovative thermochemical processes and optimized distribution channels.

This matchmaking event aims to connect Ghanaian recyclers with German technology providers to improve ways of local recycling through technology transfer from Germany.
